If I decide to fly, where can I leave my car in Montreal ?

We strongly suggest parking your car in our hotel's free back parking lot which is under 24 hour surveillance, 7 days a week. If you do this, we ask that everything you are not bringing with you be put in the trunk. Also, don't forget to lock your doors. For your information, there are no "free" parking spaces at the Pierre Elliot Trudeau (Dorval) airport.

If I decide to fly, why do I have to spend the night before my departure date in Montreal ?

We leave very early in the morning to catch our plane to Caniapiscau. We also do the following in the back parking lot of our hotel at 5 o'clock in the morning before departing for the airport:

·         each hunter and each hunter's baggage is weighed

·         Caribou licenses are given out to each hunter

·         if a hunter wants a fishing license, this is when they are sold/distributed

(Note : These procedures take awhile, so we ask that you please be on time.)

Cameras and/or video cameras (not exceeding 12 lbs.) are permitted in the cabin of the plane, but count as part of your total baggage weight.
